描写的是从宇宙历七九五年、帝国历四八六年十月的第三次迪亚马特会战到宇宙历七九六年、帝国历四八七年二月的亚斯提会战之间的情节。帝国军的年轻上将莱因哈特和同盟军的不败英雄杨威利在片中初次显示了他们的实力。它的配乐采用了交响乐来衬托其气势，舰队对战时声势甚为浩大。 片中还穿插了杨、拉普和洁西卡的三角关系。除此以外，基本上是正传的1、2集的重复与补充。
影片讲述了一事无成的中年写手陈东南（崔志佳饰），因为一场车祸穿越到了二十年前，遇到了年轻的自己。为了弥补青春的遗憾，中年陈东南帮助青年陈东南（刁彪饰）勇敢追爱、奋力逆袭，并想尽办法拯救初恋沈黎（王千果饰），上演了一出啼笑皆非、阴错阳差的精彩故事。
《村里那点事儿》由牟天翔担任导演、编剧和制片，可以说是他比较出色的一部作品。该影片最大特色就是，该剧从主创到主演均由重庆人本色出演，一部比较具有本土特色的电视剧。《村里那点事儿》完全走自己的喜剧路线，是完全南方题材和类型的新农村爱情喜剧，和纯东北味道的《乡村爱情》有着比较明显的差别。主演中的年青一代全部启用新人，青春、靓丽、搞笑将成本剧的一大特色。
全由非职业演员出演，他们多为王顺友的同事、朋友和亲人，他们质朴、自然、纯真的表演为影片增色不少。演员汇集了汉、藏、彝、壮、苗、羌、纳西、蒙古共8个民族，是多民族团结合作的结晶。
《把哥哥退货可以吗》、《限时好友》后，泰国最瞩目爆笑爱情喜剧《只有我能喜欢妳》（Love and Run），找来全台破亿天菜《模犯生》「阿班」查农桑提纳同库（Chanon Santinatornkul），颠覆《模犯生》中天才资优生形象，在新片中化身中二屁孩，只为了保护小自己一岁的女神小姑姑「小琳」，泰国超人气女神苏帕莎拉珊纳洽（Supassra Thanachat）饰演，查农使出浑身解术要斩断女神所有桃花！
