故事发生在公元222年，曹丕立甄氏为后，然而甄氏却并不爱自己的皇帝，而是被皇帝的弟弟曹植的满腹才华深深吸引，两人冒着巨大的危险最终还是走到了一起。很快，曹丕便发现了甄氏的不忠，愤怒的他处死了甄氏，将曹植发配边疆。一晃眼多年过去，曹丕为自己当年莽撞的决定感到有些许的后悔，于是他下令召回了曹植，还将甄氏的遗物“玉缕金带枕”送给了曹植作为念想。入夜，曹植在梦中受到了洛神的召唤，次日他来到约定地点，竟然见到是甄氏在等他。原来甄氏死后化身成为了洛神，遗憾的是，此时的甄氏和曹植人神殊途。
